Halloween Fun

I can't believe we are celebrating a second Halloween with our little man!

We went to my sisters church on Saturday for the annual "trunk or treat" festivites. It was Nicholas' second year going and this year he was Dumbo. It was so much fun and Auntie Tracy gave him candy for the first time..eek He had his first lollypop and was as happy as could be. He ate the whole thing all gone!

On Sunday we went to the LA Zoo for the first time (they had trick or treating too), and we got to see the Hippo eat pumpkins. (We waited for the bear for at least 20 minutes, but he was more interested in the food they put in front of him). It was a long hot day but it was fun to see all of the animals, especially the baby animals, and Nicholas touched a snake for the first time. He kept trying to grab it as we let him touch it. But the docent's were very patient and let him pet them with our help (of course).

We went to the local pumpkin patch on Tuesday (today) and walked around looking at all of the pumpkins and basically getting dirty.
