We went to Bolsa Chica State Beach for the 4th of July. After the stress of getting in and dealing with parking, we had a great day! Nicholas loved being able to play in the sand all day with his cousins and the Barclay friends from Arizona. Uncle Stu found a crab in the ocean that was named Sebastian that all of the kids were fascinated with. We took Nicholas to the ocean to play and he had fun running back and forth until he fell face first in the water. We tried to get him to go back in, but he wouldn't do it. We cooked hot dogs over fire and made smores and just hung out until it started to get dark and colder. Nicholas fell fast asleep in the car on the way home and Jimmy and I watched the fire works on both sides of the freeway the whole way home. It was a great day all around!
