Nicholas' birthday party was yesterday and was a whirlwind of a day. Somehow we ended up having two parties, and I was exhausted at the end of the day. The food was yummy (thank you Tracy and Stu), and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Nicholas didn't get a nap and was grumpy the whole day, but he perked up when it was time to hit the pinata. It was very funny! He blew out the candles on his birthday cake and had so much fun opening his presents. He fell out of the jumper house twice headfirst (each time on the cement) and ended up with a lovely bump on his forehead and a few scrapes on his face. He was so wiped out at the end of the day, but I think he had fun overall.
