My baby shower was yesterday and everything turned out so great! One of the funny moments was when I was holding Lilah, Nicholas came over to me and said "Mommy, that's not yours." It was so cute, I wonder if he'll say that once his brother is here too! We ended up having about 10 people here including my aunt from Boston; it was a great day and was very low-key.
Auntie Tracy even took Nicholas to spend the night for his first sleep over ever! He was so happy to climb in the car with them and go. It was a little weird sitting here after he left and not hearing him in the house. It did give us a chance to go on a date and to finally get some much needed sleep!
Nicholas didn't ask for us once and slept the whole night in his cousin Kumaka's bed.
