We took Nicholas to the El Capitan in Hollywood today to see Toy Story 3. It was his first time at the movie theater and he did such a great job. He sat in his seat with his popcorn and 3-d movie glasses with his eyes glued to the screen the whole time. I kept checking on him throughout to make sure he didn't fall asleep mostly, and he would just whisper the name of whatever character was on the screen at that minute.
The theater also had a fun zone where kids could play for free after the movie. He was afraid of the Buzz and Woody characters of course, and did not want to have his picture taken with them, but happily gave them both a high five when we walked away from them. We played for a few hours, had lunch and then called it a day. As soon as Nicholas was in his seat buckled, he was asleep. I guess that means he had a great day!
