We had a very busy 4th of July weekend. We left work early on Friday and went to the beach for about an hour to let Nicholas play in the sand. The weather was great and it wasn't crowded at all. He had so much fun and refused to go in the water.
On Sunday we had a relaxing day at home and had a barbecue and went to Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch to watch the fireworks. Being pregnant has it's perks! We got to park close to the entrance of the parking lot and they had a go cart pick us up and drive us the two blocks to the church. We played with bubbles, ate some more and watched the fireworks. Nicholas loved watching the fireworks and didn't take his eyes off of them. I think they were a little too loud for the baby, because he was kicking me the whole time!
