First shot

We took Christopher for his one month check up today. He now weighs 11 pounds exactly and is 22 inches long. The doctor said he is doing great and is obviously eating enough since he gained almost 3 pounds so we don't have to worry about his weight gain which is a relief. He also got his first shot today and I didn't cry! I guess watching Nicholas get shots for 2 years now has helped, and the fact that Jimmy came with me and held him when the nurse got close with the needle didn't hurt either. At his next appointment he'll get a lot more and I'll be alone, so we'll see how I do then :-)
