Friday was the day-cares Halloween parade. Each class made their own costumes, and Nicholas' class were hippies. They were so cute with their painted paper bag vests and macaroni necklaces. As soon as Nicholas saw us he wanted us to pick him up and started crying when we didn't. I ended up taking his hand and walking him around the parade route to do their trick or treating.
At night we went to the Fountain Valley Trunk or Treat with the cousins! Nicholas dressed up as Brobee this year from Yo Gabba Gabba. Cousin Kumaka dressed up as DJ Lance Rock and together they made a very cute pair. Surprisingly, Nicholas kept on his hat and gloves for most of the night. We tried to get him to say trick or treat as we were going up to the cars, but he would just look at the people passing out candy and not say a word.
Saturday was Halloween! We went to the Moorpark College Zoo for their Boo at the Zoo and watched the monkeys and hyena eat pumpkins during the day and then we dressed him up again at night and took him out trick or treating on our street. Again, he would not say anything as we went up to each house. Everytime someone would open their door, he would just look up at them, almost like he was waiting to be let in their house.
