Thankfully, Nicholas wasn't up too early today. He came in our room like he does every morning which gave me a chance to grab the video camera to capture the moment when he realized Santa Claus had come. The first thing he saw was the plate of half eaten cookies, and he picked up one of the leftovers and began finishing it off. We had to show him the presents and then he realized that Santa had come and left gifts for him. He got excited going through his stocking and opening his gifts. He finally got the Toy Story 3 movie, which I'm sure we'll watch over and over. We let him help Christopher and open some of his also. It was a good morning all in all.
Later in the day, auntie, uncle, grandma and the cousins came over to eat and play and spend the day together. We made a ton of food and it was nice to spend the day together.
