We took the boys to Disneyland today because we didn't get to see the fireworks last time we went and we were hoping to see Small World decorated for Christmas (but the line was almost an hour long). We ended up going in the afternoon which was perfect. We got a really good parking spot and didn't feel rushed and that we had to do everything. We ended up only going on two rides (the Submarine and Buzz Lightyear), but it was such a nice day out anyway. We tried to get our spot an hour before the fireworks were to start, but people must have been sitting on the benches for at least two hours, it was madness. We ended up just standing against a railing near the castle and tried to keep the kids entertained until they started. Nicholas was so tired, he almost fell asleep and missed it! When it finally did start though, Christopher looked amazed! I love watching both of their faces while watching the sky light up. After the fireworks finished, it began to snow, which was my favorite part of the whole day! We were all tired from all of the walkkng around, but I am so glad we went.
My name is Tara Hernandez and I live in the big city of Los Angeles. I am a Mom, a wife, employee, student, chef, housekeeper, and whatever else comes to mind. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle the moments spent with my boys. I love them so much and wanted to have something to look back on to help remember all of our shared moments together. Enjoy!
