I took Nicholas to his first art class today at KidsArt in Tarzana. He was a little shy at first and didn't talk much, but once he warmed up and they showed him what to do he did great! His friend Sarah from school sat next to him, and he made friends with another little girl on the other side of him (Sasha). They were so cute interacting with each other! The instructor's gave him three different picture options to choose from, and he chose the dog. They showed him how to draw the dog with the pencil, then with the marker, and then how to color and shade it in. He was so proud of himself when he was done, and ran over to show me what he drew! I guess soccer is out for now and art is in :-)
