We decided to have a snow day and intended to drive up to Mt Waterman and ended up a little farther to Snow Crest. Thankfully because of the rain this past week, we had plenty of snow. We took our sled and invited the cousins to come with us. Nicholas had so much fun going down the sled and throwing snow balls. Christopher was just happy people watching. He looked so cute in his snow clothes! Poor Nicholas kept losing a boot the whole day and his sock was soaking wet at the end of the day.
On the way home Nicholas was asking to listen to the Christmas music (we've listened to it every day up until Christmas). We tried to explain to him that the Christmas music was over because Christmas was over, but that wasn't good enough for him. So, Jimmy told him that the Christmas songs were over, because Christmas was over, and if they kept playing the Christmas music, Santa wouldn't know that Christmas was over and would start taking presents back and giving them to other people. Nicholas was good with that explanation..go figure!
