We took the boys to Disneyland yesterday to enjoy some family time before I go back to work this week. Nicholas was being kind of funny. He didn't want to get on the tram, and didn't really want to go on any of the rides either. When we first got there, we went to take pictures in front of the tree and with Santa. Nicholas liked the idea of visiting with Santa, but when it was our turn to go see him, he didn't want to have anything to do with him, so we took a family photo with him instead. It was the same way with the characters. Jimmy went to take him to see Woody and when it was his turn to see him, he took off running. When we went to take him on the Haunted Mansion, he told me he wanted to take a picture (with Jack Skellington) which we did, and when I tried to get him to go stand in line for the ride, he said he didn't want to. All we ended up going on was the Pinnochio ride which he called yucknochio and the Storybook ride. We did stay for the Christmas Parade which both boys loved and then we decided to call it a night and go home. We were hoping to stay for the fireworks, but were exhausted from not getting enough sleep from the night before.
